PLANS to build a small housing development in Bacup are likely to be refused at tomorrow's council planning meeting.
Boarsgreave Developments Ltd, based in Cowpe, wants outline permission to build four houses in Lee Road a protected garage site used by local residents for vehicle storage.
Protesters say losing the garages would cause parking problems.
Planning chiefs have recommended the application for refusal because it would result in the loss of the garage colony.
