A FORMER police officer facing charges of indecency involving children at his allotment had been arrested for breaching bail conditions.
William Thomas Black, 72, of Whalley Road, Read, admitted breach-ing a condition of bail which prohibits him using back Whalley Road as he makes his way to and from his allotment at the rear of Read Cricket Club.
He was re-bailed to attend at Burnley Crown Court on January 18 and the condition he has no contact with any person under 16, does not allow any child under 16 to enter his allotment and does not walk along back Whalley Road were re-imposed.
