A Helmshore driver over the limit injured himself and his passengers when his car hit a lamp post, Burnley magistrates heard.
Steven Wharton, 22, who was in a crash in Haslingden Road, Rawtenstall, gave a test showing 122 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood, the legal limit is 80.
The defendant, of Newbarn Close, Helmshore, admitted driving with excess alcohol. He was banned for 16 months and fined £60.
