CLITHEROE conservatory company Ultraframe has been refused permission to appeal against a costly court judgement.
The Ohio Court of Appeal, in America, has refused Four Seasons, a subsidiary of Ultraframe, permission to appeal in the Ohio Supreme Court against a 2004 judgement.
The case concerned an employee of Four Seasons, who had previously been employed by a rival firm, Patio Enclosures, the plaintiff in the case, and involved contractual obligations and alleged misuse of trade secrets.
The original judgement and associated costs came to more than £8million.
