ONE Saturday night my husband and I decided to listen to some music.
We are both in our early 40s, we grew up listening to Bowie, T-Rex and later punk rock. We enjoy music that is a little bit different.
On that note I bought a CD by Babyshambles with the infamous Pete Doherty on vocals. We really enjoyed it.
The music took us back to our youth. Who else remembers seeing Stiff Little Fingers, The Stranglers, Generation X or The Jam at King George's Hall?
Halfway through the CD our 12-year-old son came downstairs, looked at us with complete disdain, turned off our CD, put on the Beatles Greatest Hits and turned the volume up. Where did we go wrong?
