Two Blackpool youngsters have been given a taste of first team football with 'work experience' loans to Conference North clubs.
Lewis Edge featured in Worksop Town's 4-1 defeat at the hands of Nuneaton Borough on Saturday while central defender, Kevin Brown, was due to feature for Lancaster City in their midweek clash with Workington Town.
However that game was called off at half time with Brown still on the bench - perhaps a blessing in disguise as the Dolly Blues were 4-0 down at the time.
The work experience scheme allows players to play reserve and youth games with their current clubs while also enjoying first team experience at a lower level.
