MICAH Hyde is desperate to end the worst goalscoring drought of his career at Coventry this weekend.
The stand-in skipper last scored for the Clarets with a stunning volley away to Blackburn Rovers in the FA Cup last March.
And as the anniversary of last season's Goal of the Season at Ewood Park approaches, the former Watford midfielder is looking to silence the dressing room jibes of being the only midfielder still to find the target this season.
Hyde, whose only other Burnley goal came 82 games ago on his Burnley debut against Sheffield United in August 2004, admitted: "I haven't been through a spell like this in front of goal in my career.
"I used to get at least six or seven a season at my previous club Watford, so I'm not happy to just have two to my credit here at Burnley.
"The position I play usually means I am not normally the attacking midfielder. But it would be nice to get myself on the scoresheet this season and I need to do that otherwise I am going to get a lot of stick from the lads."
