Mark Hughes has praised Sergio Peter for the way he's made the step-up from the reserves to the Blackburn Rovers first team.
The German Under 20 international has featured regularly from the bench in recent weeks and it was his pinpoint centre that led to Craig Bellamy's second goal against Sunderland on Wednesday night.
Hughes said: "Sergio has done very well; he's a confident young man and after his debut, when he had a hand in all the goals against QPR, I think he has really enjoyed every chance he has had since that point.
"To be fair to the young lad, he's come on and he's always made an impact.
"It's only very early in his career."
