REGARDING a recent article regarding dangerous roads, I must point out there is no such thing as a dangerous road. Only dangerous drivers.
A road becomes dangerous only when it is in disrepair, covered in ice and snow or there is oil on it.
Granted some roads are more difficult to negotiate than others so what does one do?
Firstly and most importantly you slow down, give the road ahead 100 per cent concentration, don't start to light cigarettes, no way use a mobile phone and don't start chatting to your passengers.
If all drivers observed these simple rules I am sure road accidents would be reduced worldwide.
