TRADING standards officials in Blackburn have been unable to track down Patrick Jarrett and his team of traders.
As revealed in the Telegraph last week Jarrett, who has street trading convictions, was seen in the town centre selling postcard-sized booklets of 12 poems, two puzzles and three jokes for £2 each.
But officials revealed they were unable to investigate the exact nature of the group's business because it vanished.
Executive member for citizen and consumer rights Coun Frank Connor said: "Our officers tried but were unable to make a test purchase as the sellers had moved on from the town centre and did not return."
