A last minute goal denied Blackpool a hard-earned victory over old boss Gary Megson and his Nottingham Forest side on Saturday.
The Seasiders took an early lead when Marcus Bean scored his first goal for the club - and what a strike it was.
Ian Morris cleverly flicked a header back into space on the edge of the area and Bean was first to arrive, lashing a powerful shot into the far corner. The tenacious former QPR man, not normally known as a goalscorer, has already made himself a popular figure around Bloomfield Road with his tough tackling and commitment.
Forest's major threat came from set play, particularly from veteran Nicky Southall. Central defenders Ian Breckin and Danny Cullip had both squandered last minute chances before Breckin stooped to head home a corner a minute before the break.
But just before the break, the lead was restored and again it was down to a piece of individual brilliance.
A half-cleared Marc Joseph throw in found its way to David Fox, making his full debut, and he hit an unstoppable left footed drive which again left Paul Gerrard picking the ball out of his net.
Things got even bleaker for Forest when defender, Wes Morgan was sent off for a second bookable offence - a horrific late tackle on Rory Prendergast which top flight ref, Dermott Gallagher, could have shown a red card for on its own.
But Forest had the last laugh in the final minute when Blackpool failed to clear a long Southall free kick and the ball fell to Julian Bennett who sliced a shot into the top corner.
More worrying were the scenes off the pitch with stewards and police forced to hold back Forest fans and an element of the Blackpool support for much of the second half.
The Seasiders travel to bottom club Milton Keynes Dons on Saturday - Joseph is a slight doubt for the game after going off with a hamstring strain against Forest, while Neil Wood has the second match of his three-game suspension.
Simon Grayson's men take on Huddersfield next Tuesday and there is great news for romantics worried about choosing their football team over their loved one on Valentine's Night!
The Seasiders are staging a 'Ladies' Night' with tickets in the north stand priced at just £5 for women - the perfect romantic night out.
