Blackpool detectives are scrutinising dozens of CCTV images in a bid to identify the culprits of mass brawls between football supporters last weekend.
It is hoped the images taken by cameras hidden along Central Drive, Rigby Road, Market Street and Blackpool Football Club's Bloomfield Road stadium will provide some clues as to those responsible for instigating several violent clashes between rival fans in the resort on Saturday.
Thirteen people were arrested for fighting throughout the course of the day starting with a ruck before the Blackpool v Nottingham Forest game at The Castle pub, Central Drive, before carrying-on inside the Blackpool FC ground during the match and emerging again later that night at the Swift Hound, Rigby Road, and Brannigan's, Market Street.
Lancashire Constabulary patrol and mounted officers were supported by colleagues from Nottinghamshire Police after recent intelligence reports suggested that organised violence could on the cards at the match.
Supporters of five teams are believed to have been involved including Blackpool, Nottingham Forest, Derby, Leicester and Stoke City.
