British Psychedelic oddball Jim Noir is one of Manchester's best kept secrets - and he's coming to Lancaster on February 10.
Noir's sound is rich in the sort of tunes you'd think went out with Simon and Garfunkel and Smile-era Beach Boys.
Thrown in are ELO, Super Furry Animals, Pepper-era Beatles, The Beta Band, and early Pink Floyd.
He has spent the past year releasing gloriously colourful and inventive EPs - Eanie Meany, My Patch and Quiet Man - that have gained cult status via eBay.
His debut album, Tower Of Love, was released at the end of 2005 to rave reviews, and his recent guest performance at Feedback In Lancaster was such a success he's been invited back.
Jim Noir plays Feedback at Farmers Arms in Lancaster on February 10. 8pm - 1am. £5/£4.
