AN award-winning show is to headline at the New Millennium Theatre next month.
From Here to Absurdity is Waterfoot Bound was performed at last year's Edinburgh Fringe Festival and has since won awards at two comedy festivals.
And the show of satirical sketches could now be turned into a Radio Four series.
But before then the show, written by politics lecturer Richard Kelly, will come to the Burnley Road East venue in Waterfoot.
Kelly, who has been writing and performing sketches since his student days at Leeds University with impersonator Alastair McGowan, will be joined on stage by Ashley Hern and Caroline Major, who has been dubbed "the next Jennifer Saunders".
The trio will perform 90 minutes of original sketches and adapted songs, focusing on the madness of everyday life, on Saturday, February 11 at 8pm.
Tickets cost £8 including a hot pot supper. For further details ring 01706 228409.
