MORE than 100 jobs will be up for grabs at a special employment evening in Pendle on Thursday, March 2.
Nelson-based Pendle training, Netherfield Road, is staging its annual jobs night to offer employment and training opportunities to young people. And organisers are promising this year's event, which focuses on apprenticeships and career opportunities for 16 to 24-year-olds, will be the biggest and best yet.
Pendle Training operations manager Sandra Bignell said: "This year jobs night will be bigger and better than ever.
"There will be special themed areas, demonstrating different careers with staff from a wide range of sectors available to answer any questions young people or their parents may have."
About 60 East Lancashire organisations will be taking part and there will be a vacancies board with more than 100 jobs on offer.
Representatives from Job Centre Plus, the Learning and Skills Council, police and the armed forces will also be attending.
The event runs from 4pm until 9pm. For more information contact 01282 724200 or visit www.pendletraining.co.uk.
