FRENCHMAN Eric Skora's contract has been terminated by mutual consent.
North End this morning (Tuesday) confirmed that the midfielder will leave Deepdale with immediate effect. He is expected to sign for Kilmarnock later today.
The news comes just 24 hours after manager Billy Davies said Skora would be going to Kilmarnock to gain extra first team experience following a prolonged spell on the sidelines.
Skora had spent two months before Christmas on loan at Walsall as he began recovering from a knee injury which had wrecked about 18 months of his carerr.
The 24-year old's last league game for North End was on October 30 2004 when North End lost 3-0 to Ipswich, though he also played on Monday night in the 3-1 Lancashire Senior Cup win against Blackpool.
Skora signed on a free from French side Nancy in October 2001 and spent five months on loan between January and May 2004 at Kilmarnock, who wanted to sign him permanently. However, Craig Brown, then Preston boss, refused.
Both Walsall and MK Dons had been interested in signing him too.
