ROSSENDALE residents can quiz civic leaders on issues they want to know about this week.
Lancashire County Council leader Coun Hazel Harding, who represents Rossendale North, will be among a panel of leading county councillors taking part in a Question Time-style evening presided over by the BBC's Dave Guest.
Highway schemes, the primary school's review, changes to bus services and libraries are likely to be among the topics for discussion.
Coun Harding said: "The debates are always lively at Cabinet Question Time and I am always pleased to see so many people taking an interest in local democracy.
"I'm certain Rossendale will be no exception and that people will come along to ask about local issues and to find out more about the work of the county council.
"There is never an agenda and no set questions -- just like the BBC's Question Time. It is also very different to normal council meetings and is a great way for people to find out more about the issues that matter to them."
The event takes place at St Mary's Chambers, Haslingden Road, Rawtenstall, on February 1 at 7.15pm.
