ROSSENDALE'S over 50s are being given the chance to have their say on public services, such as health and well-being, housing, culture, safety, education, the economy and the environment.
The Words of Wisdom project will see four events for people to discuss public services which will be held at the A, B and D Centre, Burnley Road, Bacup, from 1-3pm on Wednesday, February 1; St James the Less, Burnley Road, Rawtenstall, from noon-3pm on Wednesday, February 15; St Philip's Hall, Chatterton Lane, Stubbins, noon-3pm on Monday, February 20 and the Methodist Church Hall, Rochdale Road, Shawforth, from 10.30am-2pm on Tuesday, February 28.
The scheme is organised by Rossendale Leisure Trust, Rossendale Council, Lancashire County Council, Age Concern and Rossendale Senior Citizen's Advisory Group.
