A man supplied heroin to an undercover police officer, a court was told.
Darren Robert Catlow, 22, who was caught out in Operation Nimrod, has admitted supplying heroin, last March 17.
He was committed to Burnley Crown Court for sentence by the town's magistrates.
The justices bailed the defendant on condition he lives at Williams Road, Burnley, and observes a curfew between 10pm and 6am.
Catlow was given a six month conditional dis-charge, after admitting two charges of theft.
The court heard the defendant pinched two boxes of aftershave from TK Maxx, Burnley, and walked out of Asda with clothing after putting it on in the changing rooms.
Richard Taylor, defending, said Catlow was approached by the undercover officer and asked if he could help in getting some drugs.
The defendant pointed the officer in a certain direction, bought some drugs and shared the heroin with the officer.
