AN Accrington man was caught behind the wheel two days before his driving ban ended.
Blackburn magistrates heard that Shaun Vincent Martin, 23, had spoken to his probation officer, the police and his solicitor before arranging for insurance for his car and going back on the road.
"He genuinely believed his ban had ended," said Kevin Preston, defending.
Martin, of William Street, pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified and without insurance and the case was adjourned for a pre-sentence report.
