Edgworth Against Turbines group, who oppose the planned siting of two 95m turbines at Uglow Farm, are staging a Black Tie Dinner Dance Bash at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel on March 18.
Proceeds will go towards the group's legal costs for a forthcoming public inquiry which starts at the Barlow Institute on February 28 and is expected to last three days.
Members of the group have been organising various fundraising events during the past few months to pay for legal representation at the inquiry and for expert witnesses, expected to cost £20,000.
Tickets for the dinner dance cost £50 including a three-course meal, live music from a Robbie Williams tribute act as well as a magician and strolling entertainers.
