There has been a lot of talk lately about the role of supermarkets. How they are damaging our local shops and our town centres, etc.
The real threat to losing local shops and town centres is the shoppers themselves.
By all means do most of your shopping in superstores, if that's your wish, but I beg you, please do not ignore the little village stores, or your market place and town centre.
All you need to do is spend some money outside the superstores, if it is only £10 per week.
This way you can have the better of two worlds.
The superstore only option, will take you all down a very slippery slope indeed.
