OLDER people gave their views on NHS services and were given health advice at an event in Burnley.
More than 80 residents aged 55 and over were invited to the New Life Church, in Sycamore Avenue, by the Patient and Public Involvement Forum, a watchdog which oversees Burnley, Pendle and Rossendale NHS Primary Care Trust.
The Fifty Something Drama Group gave a performance, and people were given advice on how to prevent falls, their diet, and keeping fit.
Derek Holmes, forum chairman, said: "The views of older people are sometimes neglected.
"And, as a forum, we believe this section of the community can offer us valuable information on the standard of health care on offer locally."
