A Bacup pensioner died two weeks after falling out of bed, an inquest heard.
The hearing was told that Dorothy Johnson, 90, was discovered by staff at Burwood Rest Home, Todmorden Road, in the early hours of May 1, last year.
She was taken to hospital but later discharged that day, the inquest at Burnley Magistrates Court was told.
However, her condition deteriorated and she died on May 18.
East Lancashire coroner Richard Taylor recorded a verdict of accidental death.
