A 'GREEN' charity in Hyndburn is offering people the chance to learn new skills on a programme of free training courses.
Environmental group The Prospects Foundation still has places left at sessions between now and April.
Funded by the Big Lottery, the courses aim to give people more skills and knowledge to help protect and improve the environment.
The next session, on Saturday, January 28, is an introduction to equal opportunities.
Then, on Saturday, February 18, the charity is offering woodland ecology training, when people can learn about the diversity of species found in woodlands, and why it is important to conserve them.
Health and safety will be the focus on Saturday, March 4. Finally, on Saturday, March 18, there will be a course on risk assessment for practical activities.
