BURNLEY residents will have the opportunity to quiz their MP about phone masts on Friday night.
Campaign group Together Against Masts has invited Kitty Ussher MP (pictured) to take part in a panel debate about the issue at Central Methodist Church, Hargreaves Street.
Deputy chairman of Burnley Borough Council's development control committee, Coun David Halsall, and Andy Davidson, a researcher from Tetra Watch, will also be on the panel.
TAM chairman Dennis Cannon called the meeting so residents could express their concerns and find out more about the issue.
He said: "The purpose of the meeting is to discuss with our elected representatives the ways in which possible guidelines and systems can be applied.
"People are concerned their objections should not be swept under the carpet and ignored and masts go wherever firms choose to put them without people having much say."
The meeting starts at 7.30pm and places are limited to 200. To reserve a seat contact 01282 703980.
