Goalkeeper Lee Grant has now returned to Derby County after spending two months on loan at Turf Moor.
Grant, 22, initially joined the Clarets in November as immediate cover for suspended first choice stopper Brian Jensen in the home victory over Leicester City.
However, Jensen immediately reclaimed the gloves following his one-match ban and Grant was named as a substitute a further 10 times, the last coming in last weekend's 3-0 defeat away at Cardiff City.
