AN art exhibition that celebrates a charity's 40 years supporting people with learning difficulties has opened in Darwen.
The painting, photography and ceramics show was opened at Sunnyhurst Wood Visitor Centre by Blackburn with Darwen mayor Coun Yusuf Jan-Virmani.
The artwork was done by residents at Stanley Grange, Samlesbury, which is part of the national CARE network, that provides support through residential accommodation and day services for men and women with a learning disabilities.
The exhibition runs until March 5 and the visitor centre is open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
