I MIGHT be slightly biased about the topic, but I feel as though adolescents, students in particular, haven't got the 'easy' life most might think.
Students have to cope with the intense work set for them from school, college or university, family issues which arrive at home and then towards the end of their chaotic week, they spend their weekend in a busy Saturday store where nothing but abuse is thrown at them
In all aspects it's no wonder why most students stay in their beds on Sundays!
Once an adolescent starts work they begin to take on more responsibilities in their life, which once upon a time was done for them by their parents or guardians.
Now, the mumbling, grumbling adolescent we all know, takes part in working with the charming British public and gets paid the cheerful minimum wage of £3.25 an hour.
As parents retire from spending their wage upon their delightful children, it's time for the adolescent to fend for themselves.
The only problem is that during the week that £3.25 minimum wage was spent on the tasty succulent treats offered to them at college.
So now shopping commences at Asda! With no money and a life of work, work and more work, the adolescent jumps into adulthood with both feet and poverty attached.
