POLICE are urging witnesses to come for-ward after an accident in Nelson on Friday night.
A silver Toyota Avensis and a blue Toyota Avensis collided in Carr Road at the junction with Norfolk Street at around 6pm.
The 20-year-old male driver of the silver car suffered shock and bruising to his chest and the 42-year-old driver of the blue car suffered a shoulder and spine injury.
Both were taken to Burnley General Hospital for treatment.
Sgt Martin Bishop, of Colne's Road Policing Unit, said: "We are looking for any witnesses that saw the accident."

The Camerata perform Mozart
The Camerata will be in concert at the Municipal Hall, Albert Road, on Sunday, February 5 at 7.30pm.
Doors open 6pm for a 'talking point' with the musicians at 6.30pm.
Under conductor Douglas Boyd the ensemble perform Mozart's last three symphonic masterpieces -- written by the composer in only six weeks.
