Magpies skipper Jamie Vermiglio is battling to regain fitness in time for Chorley's trip to meet UniBond League new boys Fleetwood Town on Saturday.
Vermiglio picked up a hamstring injury in the 2-1 win over Bishop Auckland at the weekend and had to go off in the first half, but he only tightened his hamstring, a less severe problem than if he had pulled it.
They will have a stern test the following week when they visit third-placed Colwyn Bay - without the services of experienced central defender Martin Clark, who has incurred a one-match ban following five bookings.
Teale is relishing the chance to pull off a Chairman's Cup upset when they visit Premier Division Frickley Athletic in the quarter-finals on February 11.
He said: "Cup success depends on how you prepare yourselves.
"We don't fear anybody and with our away form we're ready to take on anyone."
Meanwhile Chorley keeper Scott Moore helped Lancashire Under-18s to a 2-0 win over Durham scoring direct from a goalkick.
Chorley defender James Mullineux also played.
