Fylde skipper Mike Scott is the National Clubs' Association National Three (North) kicker of the month for December, the second successive month he's picked up the award.
The Fylde fly-half is one of the best goal kickers in national rugby with a success rate of 86 per cent this season. Since joining the Club from Kendal at the beginning of the 2003/4 season, he has kicked 576 points in 53 games.
Scott said: "However often I receive this award, I'm always pleased. I'm kicking goals as well as I have at any time in my career.
"But it's the form of the team that I'm more concerned about. We're a lot better than our league position suggests. We simply have to string together some wins against the top clubs in the league. With Tynedale and Bradford coming up, then this is time to put it right. If my goal kicking turns out to be a major factor then I'll be delighted."
