ANYONE with a drop of common sense will be outraged by the stupidity of the antics filmed by East Lancashire teenagers for their 'stunt' website.
How these youngsters can mutilate their bodies and put themselves at such obvious risk of serious injury is almost beyond belief.
One boy in Darwen has already suffered serious burns and it seems incredible that teenagers are at it again just months after a 17-year-old admitted assault.
At court, magistrates - against police advice - decided to let the offender have his confiscated computer back. And for a time, the website did disappear from view.
But now it is operating again and police have publicly expressed their disappointment and disquiet that it was able to reappear.
And MP Janet Anderson has called for parents to take control of their children - something every sensible parent would heartily echo.
The chairman of the bench that let the 17-year-old have his computer back now says that they appear to have been let down.
We need an effective method of policing such websites - and courts that levy punishments tough enough to make teenagers determined not to offend again.
