PEOPLE in Colne have been thanked for their generosity after raising £5,000 for charity.
Colne Noyna Rotary Club relaunched its Santa sleigh this Christmas and delighted shoppers at Morrisons, Asda and in the town centre with their seasonal display.
Now the club has set its sights on next Christmas when it hopes to raise £6,000 to £7,000 for charity.
Vice-president David Briscoe said: "We went out the week before Christmas and spent four nights round the streets of Colne and Barrowford.
"Everyone thought it was great we were back on the streets.
"We'd just like to thank everyone who gave money."
