ON behalf of the Europrint sponsored Employee Community Involvement project I would like to thank everyone who contributed to our 2005 Christmas Challenge appeal.
Due entirely to the kindness of the Lancashire Evening Telegraph, its readers and the generosity of companies both local and national, disadvantaged people throughout the borough and in the Hyndburn area too have been able to enjoy a brighter and happier festive period.
However please do not think it's too late if you haven't already contributed. The Employee Community Involvement project operates all year round from our offices that are now based at Unit 20, BTMC, Challenge Way, Blackburn.
Here we take donations of most 'new' items and pass them on to those in genuine need through registered local charities.
We are also able to facilitate team challenge events to enable vital projects to be completed in the Blackburn and Darwen area. We make no charge for this service -- just asking for the gift of time and perhaps materials where necessary.
If you are able to help please contact our office on 01254 661166. We will be delighted to assist your efforts to help those less fortunate living locally.
Once again, many thanks to everyone for your outstanding and continued help which during the course of 2005 helped us raise around £500,000 in support for local groups.
WENDY L HOBSON, Europrint Employee Involvement Manager, Community and Business Partners Ltd.
