A TEENAGER'S jaw was broken in two places in an attack yesterday.
Police say the 19-year-old was sat in the Pyramid takeaway, Darwen Street, Blackburn, at about 2.30am, when he was approached by two men.
He was hit repeatedly in the face and required treatment at hospital for his injuries. Police are now appealing for witnesses to the attack.
The first offender was about 25 years old, 6ft tall, wearing jeans and a white T-shirt. He looked fit and had possiblly served in the army.
The second had short, spiky hair.
Inspector Steve Haworth of Blackburn police said: "It's quite possible there were a number of other people in the takeaway at the time.
"If anyone has information about the incident we would appreciate a call."
