There's been plenty of talking but so far no signatures for Blackpool boss Simon Grayson as he bids to transform the Seasiders' mid-winter fortunes during the transfer window.

Grayson has a £20,000 donation from club owner, Owen Oyston, burning a hole in his pocket after the first game of the 'buy a player' month of events and Blackpool fans have also been urged to get to forthcoming games against Oldham (next Tuesday), Doncaster and Bristol City to boost the gaffer's kitty.

Fees have been agreed for two men but no deal has yet been done after talks with the players concerned and their agents.

One man who won't be signing is Tommy Wright. The Leicester loan striker has agreed to move to league one rivals Barnsley instead of continuing his spell with the Seasiders. Despite a decent goalscoring record the former England youth international has found himself on the bench at Bloomfield Road in recent weeks.
