THE TV showing of 'Children in Need' recently certainly made an impression on my great granddaughter, aged eight.
When she asked "Daddy, Daddy, what I can I do? I want to help." As money was out of the question, he suggested she draw a picture and colour it.
Well it was very well done so her daddy put it on the computer with a lovely message to ask: 'If anyone out there could help this little girl to make her wish come true.'
The bidding started at 10p, then up to 50p, but the big one was a £50 bid from a gentleman who also promised to put it in a frame.
By the way her name is Holly so it couldn't be better for the time of the year.
