A two-week lay off did no favours for Chorley Under 8s, as a strong running game saw Clock Face come out on top.
Chorley began the game slowly allowing Clock Face to gain an early lead, but their defence got better in the second half.
Top tackler was Jack Kindred closely followed by Alex Gabriel and Adam Watkinson, who gained the coaches' award.
Best effort went to a Declan Heyes who had a good all round game.
Chorley's only try came from a strong running Michael Robinson who gained the man of the match award.
The final score was Chorley Panthers 4, Clock Face 34.
