The long awaited meeting between Colin Hendry and Blackpool chairman, Karl Oyston, is expected to finally take place towards the end of this week.
The meeting, first expected to take place as long as two weeks ago, has been delayed while the manager arranges legal advice and the club investigates the source of a tabloid newspaper article which claimed Hendry was owed expenses.
A decision on a permanent occupant of the manager's hot-seat is expected between the Chesterfield game and a home fixture with Bournemouth.
