BURNLEY are looking to exact sweet revenge when they entertain Crewe Alexandra at Turf Moor this weekend.
Despite mounting a charge up the Championship in the past two months, the Clarets have not forgotten their opening day defeat at Gresty Road, which got the campaign off to a false start after losing to a last minute goal.
And winger Wade Elliott admits Saturday's game is one the whole team are looking forward to as they aim to bounce back to winning ways following the midweek defeat at Leeds.
"Crewe Alexandra at home is one game we've been looking out for ever since the start of the season," said Elliott.
"I think that was maybe one of the only games this season where we feel we didn't perform as well as we can do.
"There have been games we've obviously lost, but in terms of performances the Crewe game wasn't the best and I think everyone has had half an eye on that one to try and rectify things."
