Howdenjones return Morecambe on November 26 for what has become a traditional end-of-year celebration.
Glasson Dock pairing Kate Howden and Paul Jones will team up with Huddersfield fiddler Sarah Cheffins at the The Platform.
Just back from a successful tour of The South West as part of the National Rural Touring Network's autumn programme, howdenjones play acoustic music at its best delivered with vitality and skill.
They take the best bits of acoustic roots and folk and remould them into their own style blending strong vocal harmonies with guitar, fiddle, viola, South American cajon drum, mandolin and the Swedish nyckelharpa.
The concert will also feature a solo performance by special guest Duncan McFarlane, a songwriter and guitarist based in Leeds and new to the folk scene from an earlier career as a rock guitarist.
Returning to the Platform has become a tradition for howdenjones as they travel nationally.
Howdenjones play the Platform in Morecambe on Saturday, November 26. Tickets at £10 and £8 are available from the Platform box office 01524-582803.
