Billy Davies has urged his Preston side, and supporters, not to get carried away by the club's recent good form.
North End are unbeaten in nine outings now, and have lost just four times in the last 20 games.
Davies said: "We won't get carried away. We know nothing is won at this stage of the season so we will not take anything for granted."
North End's improving form ties in with a vastly improved injury situation. Tuesday's game saw a return of the midfield partnership of Paul McKenna and Brian O'Neil which did so well last season.
And with youngster David Jones also fighting for a midfield place, North End appear to be gaining the strength in depth Davies has been so keen for.
