Half-Lancastrian electro foursome Performance have been chart stars in waiting for the last few years, and finally look like fulfilling that pop potential having snagged themselves a major label deal.
The first fruits of their spell with Polydor, Surrender is lacking the immediacy and youthfulness of last year's debut single Dotted Line, but it boasts some great New Order guitar chords underneath the customary Human League synth sounds and ever-so-slightly pretentious lyrics.
Released December 5, 2005.
