RE the siting of the waste processing plant at Huncoat and the objections to the bypass which would increase traffic congestion in that area.
Couldn't the former Padiham Power Station branch-line and sidings be used alongside a suitable site away from the residential area?
Then all the waste could be moved in and out by rail as it is done in Manchester. This would surely solve all the problems.
