Blackburn Rovers striker Jemal Johnson will find out this week whether his loan spell with Preston North End will be extended.
The 20-year-old American has made three appearances and scored once during his month's stay with the Deepdale club.
And with Preston's star striker David Nugent struggling with a knee injury, manager Billy Davies may ask his counterpart Mark Hughes for an extension to Johnson's loan.
Davies told the Lancashire Evening Post: "Jemal has two more games to go and we will have a good chat with him through the week and have a look at it."
