BLACKBURN Rovers are reported to be among a clutch of clubs keeping tabs on Chasetown's FA Cup hero Chris Slater.
The 21-year-old has been attracting attention after starring for the Midlands Alliance minnows during their march to the first round of the FA Cup.
A scout from Rovers was at Boundary Park on Wednesday night to see Slater put in a man-of-the-match performance against Oldham Athletic - a tie which the non-league side eventually lost 4-0.
Slater's manager, Charlie Blakemore, said: "I thought Chris was outstanding and league clubs will be hovering."
