BURNLEY are hoping to boost attendances at Turf Moor with the introduction of half season tickets, which have gone on general sale.
Chairman Barry Kilby's shock claim that the Clarets need home gates of around 16,000 to break even has highlighted the problems the club face to keep pace with many of the division's big hitters.
Kilby also revealed that some Championship rivals are pulling in £250,000 more than Burnley every home game.
So, with prices starting at just £35 for juniors and £153 for adults - a saving of up to £70 on matchday prices - the Clarets hope their new initiative can win back a segment of support that has dwindled in recent years.
There is also a special package for junior supporters, who can purchase a half-season ticket and a shirt from just £55.
All half season tickets are valid for 10 Championship games, starting with the New Year's Eve clash with Sheffield Wednesday. details of the tickets, which can be bought from the ticket office or by phoning 0870 443 1914, are as follows:
