Council house tenants in Chorley who pay their rent on time could scoop an extra £350 in time for some extra Christmas shopping.
The Christmas Prize Draw, organised by Chorley Borough Council, is giving all residents living in council owned houses a chance to get a share of £350 prize in vouchers to spend at a shop of their choice.
The prize draw, which is taken from housing rent coffers, will automatically include all tenants who are paid up to date on December 4 and December 11 depending on the area of Chorley you live in.
First prize is £200, second prize is £100 and the third tenant will receive £50.
Councillor Laura Lennox, Chorley's executive member for housing, said: "The Christmas Prize Draw is the council's way of encouraging people to pay their rent and give something back to those that are up to date at the same time.
"Recent years have been a tremendous success, with hundreds of tenants entered into the draw. I think it is a great idea which helps the authority balance the books through the Christmas period."
Tenants who want to take part and update their accounts in time for the draw can go to Chorley Borough Council's offices in Union Street, between 8.45am and 4.45pm, Monday to Friday, or can make payments with a debit or credit card 24 hours a day by telephoning 01257 511000.
