THEY'RE ONE of the world's best rock 'n' roll bands, they've played Wembley 40 times... they've even been on Coronation Street. Now Status Quo are rocking all the way to Lancashire for two shows as part of their 40th anniversary tour.
The band -- Francis Rossi, Rick Parfitt, Andrew Bown, John Edwards and Matt Letley -- have played more than 6,000 live shows to more than 25million people over a career spanning five decades.
During that time they've travelled four million miles and spent 23 years away from home.
The 40th anniversary tour, which comes to Blackpool on November 24 and Blackburn the following evening, is a rare chance for fans to witness a piece of rock history.
Tickets are sold out -- but fans will want to beg, steal or borrow to get their hands on a pair.
Status Quo play Blackpool Opera House on Thursday, November 24 and Blackburn King George's Hall on Friday, November 25 at 7pm. Visit www.statusquo.co.uk for more information.
